As far as maintenance goes, just remember to keep the area clean! Once the piercing is healed, that area can build up a lot of skin oils and dead skin, so you can keep the jewelry clean and free of debris by using a soft bristle toothbrush and some gentle soap to clean the jewelry while wearing it.
